Three’s a Charm

Out & About Spring Tour 2024

CSD’s whirlwind spring tour became a reality last season, to the delight of four Michigan presenters. Returning from Germany, Detroit’s own cellist Erik Asgeirsson joined Michigan Opera Theater Orchestra concertmaster Eliot Heaton and pianist Pauline Martin for a whirlwind 5-day concert tour. An inspiring program of piano trio gems – Beethoven Trio, Op.1, No. 1 in E-flat Major, Fauré Piano Trio, Op. 120 and Smetana Piano Trio in G minor – captivated audience members of the Fair Lane Music Guild, Kerrytown Concert House, Grove Festival (Midland) and Grosse Pointe Memorial. Truly, a season highlight for all!

Welcome to Chamber Soloists of Detroit

CSD has since been greeted with warm enthusiasm by audiences in Canada and Europe, leading to its celebratory 10th anniversary debut performance at the famed Royal Concertgebouw in Amsterdam in 2022.

Michigan audiences can hear live CSD performances at our partner venues, The Hawk Mainstage Theater in Farmington Hills and Kerrytown Concert House in Ann Arbor; CSD is also available for guest appearances at venues in the area and beyond.
