Please note that our Thursday, Nov. 12 concert featuring the Ehnes Quartet & Jonathan Vinocour will take place in the 3rd floor Media Center, with limited preferred seating for season subscribers on a first-come, first-served basis.
Welcome to Chamber Soloists of Detroit
Chamber Soloists of Detroit has proudly created a tradition of presenting the area’s finest virtuosi in collaboration with emerging and renowned guest artists. Its vigorous pursuit of international outreach and touring opportunities enhances Detroit’s global image as a cultural leader.
Founded in 2012 by artistic director, pianist Pauline Martin, Chamber Soloists of Detroit was launched with the blessing of her teacher and mentor, pianist Menahem Pressler, whose unforgettable performance ushered in an auspicious opening season. CSD has since been greeted with warm enthusiasm by audiences in Canada and Europe, leading to its celebratory 10th anniversary debut performance at the famed Royal Concertgebouw in Amsterdam in 2022.
As schedules will allow, Chamber Soloists of Detroit artists are also pleased to accept invitations to perform at venues throughout Michigan and beyond.
