Violinist Timothy Braun’s “explosive charisma” (Torrance Times) brings audiences to their feet. Braun and Detroit native, cellist Erik Ásgeirsson (“Impressive” – Rundschau, Bonn) are drawing kudos as soloists and chamber musicians at major U.S. and European venues, including Beethovenfest Bonn and WDR Radio. With pianist Pauline Martin, they debuted on Michigan’s Grove Festival (Midland) in 2011.
Program will feature a delightful selection of duos by Kodály, Hosokawa and Martinu and the ever-popular Trio in d minor by Felix Mendelssohn.
